Coolest Security Guard Movies

Upon starting his shift, he is instructed to not allow anything "in or out." He soon comes to realize the importance of this creepy warning: The Museum comes to life at night, kicking off a bone-tingling phenomenon which thrilled movie-goers of all ages. For as long as we can recall, movies that contain bumbling, hapless or epic security guards, or protective dynamic duos, are a fun, important part of cinematic history. Here's a list of classic bodyguard movies, or videos using super-strength security stars which we just can not forget.

The Pacifier: Vin Diesel as hard guy Shane Wolfe, a disgraced US Navy SEAL assigned to work as a bodyguard protecting five rebellious children. He can soon be the one needing shielding, as he learns the hard way that nannying isn't a joke.

James holds it down as Paul Blart, who dreams of becoming an officer for the New Jersey State Police. But, his ample size does not help his chances of being a powerhouse cop, so he has to contend with being a security guard at his regional mall. Heartwarming and hilarious, this is a superb film for the entire family.

Armed and Dangerous: John Candy and Eugene Levy team up and create cinematic history in this brilliant friend comedy; the bumbling duo play a newly fired cop and amoral lawyer who match up as security guards, only to discover that they have unwittingly become members of a corrupt business.

When he fails to get in the police force and is belittled by the officer taking over his operations, he embarks on a double mission of insanity: to establish himself and grab the elusive mall flasher, Ronnie's arch enemy and ultimate goal. Have your hankie ready with this endearing tear-jerker.

National Security: Martin Lawrence and Steve Zahn as Earl and Hank, respectively  guards from different walks of life which have something in common: the security company they work for. This odd couple does not disappoint in the laughs department. Frank famously dropped the ball when it came to rescue President Kennedy, but did put himself on the front lines to take out a crafty assassin who's targeting his existing client.
